  Large-scale petrochemical equipment, steam turbine, Island and boiler equipment connection stress elimination solution design

  In design and application process between connection pipes for equipment, the key problem that must be considered is that stress at the pipe interface and equipment nozzle orifice must meet the thermal expansion and contraction requirements and be able handle the load caused by vibration as well as related requirements, to guarantee safe operation.

  In the traditional compensation method, usually only a curved natural compensation connection with flexible design is used. This not only wastes material and occupies a large space, but also has too much thrust, making it difficult to meet many design requirements. Sometimes, in order to reduce the nozzle thrust, a fixed bracket must be set.

  With the rotary compensation method, the additional load caused by expansion and contraction or equipment vibration and swing between equipment can easily absorbed, releasing the stress on the pipe and reducing the nozzle thrust. This saves a lot of pipe and space and adds greater security.
