Contract energy management
The CNOOC Huizhou Branch energy-saving steam pipeline renovation project was an overall modification of the natural compensation package, designed by the original Sinopec Engineering Incorporation (SEI) Design Institute. We adopted the world's latest rotary compensator layout scheme, which completely replaced the previous TT shaped compensator. The whole project was implemented by us, from design, construction to operation.
In this project, a total length of 1.2 km pipe is involved and the diameter is DN500-400. It runs through the entire main gallery system of CNOOC Huizhou Branch. The original scheme used 13 groups of TT -shaped compensator, extended the pipe length up to 1.5 km, took 106 elbows, 21 sets of equipment water drainage and used mineral wool of low temperature resistant and high thermal conductivity as insulation materials. After did the pipeline overall deployment and analysis, we determined to use rotary compensators instead, use ultra-fine glass wool pipe of low thermal conductivity for insulation and the use efficient heat insulation pipe bracket instead of the original welded pipe bracket. After the renovation, the length of the original pipeline is reduced from 1.5 km to 1.2 km , saving nearly 300 meters pipe, 87 elbows, 9 sets of hydrophobic unit, the end pressure of steam pipelines increased nearly 0.5 kg , the temperature increased 3℃ and hydrophobic volume was significantly reduced. After a preliminary calculation, it saves about 515.6 tons of fuel annually. Taking 7,000 Yuan one ton, it can save nearly 3.6 million Yuan every year. Taking the design life cycle as 30 years, one low-pressure pipeline can save nearly 108 million yuan with rotary compensator scheme renovation. Based on previous experience, the higher steam parameters, the greater the energy savings after the renovation. According to this logic, if national petrochemical enterprises adopt this scheme of rotary compensator pipe rack system renovation, it can save a lot of money for the company and make a greater contribution to the national emission reduction policies.
